As a writer, actor, musician, director, and facilitator, Kudakwashe's artistic endeavours amalgamate in transcendence through embodiment.
With focus on empowering people of colour to tell stories of power, Kudakwashe's work is heavily inspired by mythology, cultural underbelly, Afro-Surrealism and Afro-Futurism.
Their work is modelled after the cultural necessity of Sankofa, a Ghanaian word from the Akan Nation meaning 'look back to look forward' or 'fetch what is at risk of being left behind.' resulting in defiant-hybridisation, analogue-meets-digital, past-meets-future, real-meets-unreal essence to all their engagements.
