Focus on some of the survivors of the bombing of Nagasaki as they look at the statue of the Virgin Mary, which stood in front of their Cathedral at the time of the bombing, for an understanding of the pain and the suffering they continue to endure as the broken city rises from the ashes.
This production was first performed at the Tokyo International Arts Space as part of the Tokyo International Arts Festival (4-6 October). It was presented in repertoire with a Japanese production of John Romeril's "The Floating World".
